Foster cabinets, recognised for having excellent temperature stability, are ‘recommended’ by Cytiva (formerly GE Healthcare) for cooling their AKTA systems, their use starting in ~1999 by Jencons. Working closely with Cytiva, we now offer modification of the extremely energy-efficient Foster cabinets for their AKTA systems, particularly the AKTA pure protein purification unit. Each unit is fully customised to exact requirements for customer, eg number & position of access ports, electric sockets & scaffold rods – even down to size of 2-tier keg rack or placement of shelving, specific to operator or equipment dimensions. We offer delivery & siting by specialist carriers who can remove/refit wheels or tip/tilt/stairwalk to get into laboratories (subject to site survey).

AMCHR700-1 is a single-door (700 mm wide) cabinet with 4 wire shelves, 1 access port, 1 double electric socket, and 1 heavy-duty 2-tier rack. Overtemperature cut-out and stainless platform sheets are optional.
AMCHR700-2A is a single-door cabinet with the same dimensions as the AMCHR700-1, but upgraded with 2 access ports, a built-in overtemperature cut-out, 1 sliding shelf, and 1 stainless platform sheet. It does not include a 2-tier rack.
AMCHR1400-1 is a large double-door cabinet (1440 mm wide) with 8 wire shelves, 1 access port, 1 double electric socket, and 1 heavy-duty 2-tier rack. Overtemperature cut-out, sliding shelf, stainless platform sheet, and scaffold rod support are optional.
AMCHR1400-2 is a large double-door cabinet (1440 mm wide) featuring 2 access ports, 2 double electric sockets, and 2 heavy-duty 2-tier racks for increased equipment capacity. Overtemperature cut-out and scaffold rod support are optional, with no sliding shelf or stainless platform sheet included.
AMCHR1400-3 is a large double-door cabinet (1440 mm wide) configured for flexibility, with 2 access ports, 2 double electric sockets, a built-in overtemperature cut-out, 1 sliding shelf, and 1 stainless platform sheet. A 2-tier rack and scaffold rod support are optional. A balanced configuration for a wide range of laboratory applications.
AMCHR1400-4 is a large double-door cabinet (1440 mm wide) optimized for higher equipment density, featuring 4 access ports, 2 double electric sockets, 2 sliding shelves, 2 stainless platform sheets, and a built-in overtemperature cut-out. Scaffold rod support is optional. Ideal for complex testing with multiple instruments.
AMCHR1400-5 is the most fully equipped preset cabinet (1440 mm wide) in the range, including 4 access ports, 2 double electric sockets, 2 sliding shelves, 2 stainless platform sheets, built-in overtemperature cut-out, and 1 scaffold rod support. It offers the highest level of standard functionality for demanding laboratory and testing applications.
